I dont like this Dictionary. I was so much better before. I will delete it ASAP!

But it crashes if you search for a bad word

I loved this app and seriously used it multiple times a day. I especially loved that it had a list of synonyms for a word. This new update doesnt offer that feature and now this app lost its touch!!!

Redesign is beautiful but would love it if swiping to go back to search results was incorporated especially with such large screens it becomes tedious to have to reach so far for a back button and that most app interfaces have a swipe action to go back.

I already owned the dictionary pro which I paid to remove the ads. Now after the update/switch I am now being asked to pay 7.99 to remove the ads again. How do I uninstall this update and revert to my previous version? Please help

Im not gonna lie, I love your dictionary app. Fast, easy, and didnt need to connect. But the white is just a little bit bland... I liked the flavor that you had before with the brown/gray scheme.

The dictionary app was one of my favorites, but Im not liking the update. Especially not liking the lacking thesaurus.

I have been using this app for years, and I love the improvements! I really appreciate the time put into making the app more colorful. I also like how now I dont have to look at the synonyms separately from the word Im searching. Thanks guys, great job!

Recreatable glitch: type in a bunch of random letters and press enter without giving the app time to find what youre looking for. The app crashes every time.

So they take over 2 years off in between updating this app and then make it worse?!! It crashes all the time now, they have removed the audio button to speak each word aloud, and the app is now more difficult to see with its color combination. And no thesaurus? This app now seems pretty useless unless they fix ASAP!!

I am a new user of dictionary!, which I came across through the wordset project a.k.a. Wordset.org, which I have been participating in from time to time. I have no idea about technical stuff so I will focus more on the content. Here is what I like about dictionary!: - it provides everything you would expect from a good dictionary: accurate definitions & example sentences that demonstrate the use of word - it refrains from annoying stereotypes through gender neutral example sentences - you can contribute to dictionary! instantly if you like - the design is clean and modern - the ads on the free version arent too bad and can be removed for a modest fee

Love that there are more options when trying to spell a word correctly using this app. Not sure i like the keyboard repeatedly moving in my way after i have read the definition and am going back to look at another word on the list. The background seems a little bright, maybe add "some" off white would even help. Over all thank you for update ... I hope to use the new version as much or more than the old!!

It was good, great even. But the update ruined it. Ive had this ever since I first got my 4s so its disappointing to see it like this. Deleting.

I paid for this app because it included a dictionary and thesaurus and worked quickly -- the keyboard popped up right away to search for a word when you opened the app. But now, a total redesign of the program has removed the thesaurus functionality and added links to a useless website where youre invited to make an account and log in. This is an outrage, and I wish I could get a refund.

I hate the update its horrible go back to the old format if not Im deleting this now garbage app WHAT A WASTE OF TIME THIS APP!!!!

I used & loved Dictionary, even paid the upgrade to remove the ads. After the "Update" its full ads AND now they want $7.99 to re-remove them! No way I can recommend this type of business practice.

I chose the old app over more established brands because it was super simple and super fast to get definitions. The design was not the prettiest but it was very practical and made sense. Now its just like all the other dictionary apps without the thesaurus which was my favourite feature. Serious downgrade if you ask me.

They took away the thesaurus!!!

Wow, much more modern looking. Icon looked so different I thought some virus put a new app on my phone.
